A day after the Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati expressed her apprehensions of early lok Sabha elections owing to frequent visits by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Uttar Pradesh, the Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has said that his party’s alliance with the BSP has changed the body language of the Prime Minister. Akhilesh questioned the sudden spurt in Prime Minister’s visit to UP and demanded that PM Narendra Modi to reveal the schedule of the next lok Sabha elections.
Targeting the Prime Minister for his recent visit to Azamgarh for laying the foundation stone of the Purvanchal Expressway linking lucknow with Ghazipur, SP president said, “Nowadays I do not listen to what the PM says in his meeting, but I look at the way he twists his wrist while addressing the meeting in Uttar Pradesh’’. He added, “The BJP Government has deleted the prefix ‘Samajwadi’, from the Expressway but the Government should never ignore the fact that the Expressway to east Uttar Pradesh passes through the strong hold of the Samajwadi party’’. SP president was addressing the youth who arrived here from Allahabad running “Dalit chetna” and “Yuva chetna Yatra’’ at the State office of the party.
