Former UP Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav has questioned the claims of achievement by the Yogi Adityanath Government on completion of 100 days of BJP Government in the State.
Social media savvy Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday tweeted “Ram Ram Karna Paraya kaam Apna .” Akhilesh Yadav had been consistently claiming that the BJP Government lacks vision and agenda for the development of the State. He had also been claiming that the schemes and the development projects initiated by the previous Samajwadi Party regime are being projected as the achievement of the BJP Government. SP and its president are also rattled by the spate of inquiries by the CBI into the projects implemented during the previous regime recommended by the Yogi Adityanath Government.
The SP president also feels outmaneuvered by the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over the in principal approval granted to the Greenfield International Airport at Jewar in Gautam Buddh Nagar district. The previous SP Government wanted to shift the airport to Sefai, the native place of Akhilesh Yadav in Etawah district.
SP spokesperson Rajendra Chowdhury said, this BJP Government has failed to deliver to the people in its first 100 days in office. He alleged that the BJP lacks the agenda for development of UP and the Government was working with vendetta and ordering inquiries and investigations into the works done by the previous Samajwadi Party Government. He said in the last 100 days, the BJP Government has not announced even one scheme or the project for the development of the State and were only repackaging the schemes announced by the previous Akhilesh Yadav Government.
The BJP however countered the charge saying the SP has a myopic vision and claiming credit for the projects which were incomplete yet inaugurated by the former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. The State BJP general secretary Vijay Bahadur Pathak said that the Opposition parties have nothing to say against the Yogi Adityanath Government.
“The SP leaders are yet to realise that they had been voted out of power by the people of Uttar Pradesh and they were no longer in office,” said the BJP leader.
