Questioning BJP’s haste in forming the next Government in the State, the Samajwadi Party said that the message emanating from Vindhyachal working committee meeting was that the BJP will form the Government soon, whereas the fact is that the Akhilesh Yadav Government will complete its full tenure and return to power in 2017.
“The BJP is seems to be living in fool’s paradise. It feels that it can fool the people through hollow slogans as it did during the lok Sabha elections. The people are smart. They have seen through BJP’s game plan and will not fall in the trap again,” Samajwadi Party spokesman Rajendra Chaudhry said in a statement here on Monday.
He said that in its working committing meeting, BJP leaders have asked workers to get ready for coronation but has not spelled out what it will do for the people if it comes to power. This shows BJP leadership is in a hurry, he said.
“On the other hand Samajwadi Party is the only party in the country which has fulfilled all the promises it had made during elections. Ours is the party that has speeded up development projects. Roads are being laid and old ones are being renovated. Metro is being introduced to speed up travel while efforts are on improve power situation in the State,” Chaudhry said.He said the last by-elections are the indication of Akhilesh Yadav’s popularity.
