Akhilesh attends kisan mahapanchayat held in Aligarh, blasts State Govt

Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav took the State Government in witness box in the kisan mahapanchayat held at Tappal on Friday in protest against the agricultural law. He raised questions on law and order. Stating a very old saying, he said a confused ruler, a chaotic state. He quoted that “Andher Nagri, Chaupat Raja; Dindahade dushkarm or raatbhar Gaanja”. He said this is the state where misdeeds happen in broad daylight.

After the farmer agitation and after the arrival of the bill, this is the first panchayat of Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav in Jaat Land.

This area of farmers is famous as Mini Chaprauli. He supported the farmer movement and said that Rakesh Tikait, who lead the farmer movement, is the great child of his great father. His father Mahendra Singh Tikait had organized great movements for the benefit of the farmers. Rakesh Tikait is also following his legacy.

He lashed out at the Central Government on agricultural laws. Where the farmers' movement has been 100 days today but there is no effect on the government! I am confident that the farmer young men will keep on fighting till this law come to an end. Akhilesh assured the farmers that this fight is yours but the Samajwadi Party stands with you. Because the future of India is linked to it.

Supporting the movement against the agricultural legislation, Akhilesh Yadav said that from the day the farmers started the movement, no matter what political party, everyone chanted the slogan Jai Jawan Jai Kisan. Farmers are sitting in Delhi. It has been a hundred days of agitation. I am confident that these farmers will continue to struggle till these three laws are returned.

This fight is definitely for the farmers, but we are with them. If farmers do not cultivate food then no one can imagine what will be life on earth. How many days you can live without eating. Farmers who work in the field and on the farm lead our lives, he said.
