Equating Indian army with Lord Hanuman, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said the way Lord Hanuman burnt Lanka, the Indian army destroyed terror camps operating in Pakistan.
“Indian army destroyed terror camps operating in Pakistan just as Lord Hanuman had destroyed the goons in Ravan’s Lanka. This act of valour (of Indian army) was possible only because of the strong and decisive government (at the Centre) and the determination and will power of Prime Minister (Narendra) Modi,” Yogi said while addressing an election rally in Siwalkhas in Baghpat Lok Sabha constituency on Wednesday.
He said India had made remarkable progress in economic and military field under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
Yogi appealed to the people to vote for the BJP and help India become an economic super power.
In his over 40-minute speech, Yogi talked about various issues, including air strike and achievements of the Modi and his own governments.
He paid tribute to Kargil martyr Rajendra Singh and remembered Dhyan Singh Gurjar who led the revolution of 1857 from Baghpat.
