Congress Lok Sabha Leader Adhir Chowdhury has accused Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of striking a deal with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to weaken the Congress. The Behrampore MP who is also the Bengal Pradesh Congress president said how the Chief Minister was sending her party TMC to all those States where the Congress was in direct fight with the BJP. He would however not mention Goa or Meghalaya.
Taking a jibe both at Modi and Mamata he said both were serving each other’s interest. “While Modi is going soft on the TMC leaders by restraining the central investigating agencies after she has bowed before him the TMC is helping the BJP in some States by dividing the Congress votes and helping the BJP win,” he said.
