Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal on Sunday said that action taken by the State Government on the controversial land deals of Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, would be made public soon. “I have received dozens of such complaints, including on Robert Vadra land deals, which are being investigated. The course of Government action on these complaints would soon be made public,” said Manohar lal while talking to the mediapersons at Chandigarh Press Club here on Sunday.

Vadra was named in a 58-crore land deal with realty giant DlF in Gurgaon district as well as other controversial land deals in the national capital region (NCR) adjoining Delhi. On controversy surrounding Robert Vadra’s land deals, the CM said, “Our target is not to move ahead by keeping one person in mind. We have got a positive mandate to eradicate corruption”.

Expressing satisfaction over the outcome of the various initiatives taken by his Government during the last more than four months to curb corruption in the state, he said that corruption at any level will not be tolerated. lal, a first-time MlA and the Chief Minister of first-ever BJP Government in Haryana said that focus of the first BJP Government in Haryana would be on development and ending corruption.

He said that the Government plans to introduce a new transfer policy in the state. The transfer will not be considered as a disciplinary action; rather people will be given postings as per their performances. The transfers had become quite a business in the regime of previous State Government, he added. Making it clear that corruption would not be tolerated at any level, the CM assured that the Government would take strict action if any complaint of corruption came to it. The Government is taking steps to check corruption in three major areas including ClU (change of land use), transfers and Government jobs (appointments).

The revenue officials in the State have been asked to complete some 50,000 mutations pending since years within a month. The number of cases registered by the Haryana State Vigilance Bureau in the last four months had exceeded those registered by the Bureau during the last ten years, he informed.
