Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) may not be contesting the Haryana Assembly elections but will remain in the limelight through its ‘Pol Khol’ (expose) campaign against other political parties in the run up to the polls.
“Though we have decided not to contest Assembly polls in Haryana, yet our party would play an active role in these elections”, said Yogender Yadav, senior leader of AAP.
A meeting to chalk out further strategy for the campaign to expose the misdeeds of other political parties was also chaired by Yadav in Chandigarh on Wednesday, in which more than hundred volunteers took part. Naveen Jaihind, member of national executive of the party said that during this campaign 1,000 volunteers will cover all the 21 districts of the State besides 90 Assembly constituencies in Haryana.
Yadav is expected to lead the Statewide campaign in Haryana, which would continue for a month till completion of polls in the State. Jaihind added that in this campaign, volunteers would ask the sitting MlAs for their report card of the last five years.
