SAD president Sukhbir Badal on Monday said that deliberate manner in which the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was avoiding to announce a candidate from Bathinda proved that it had an understanding with the Congress.
“AAP and Congress are acting as one in Bathinda where PPP chief Manpreet Badal is set to contest parliamentary elections on the Congress symbol… It is strange that while AAP is claiming it has no alliance with the Congress at the Centre, it is playing hand in glove with them. AAP has carefully selected candidates who it thought could harm the SAD in league with the Congress and even derailed a party leader's candidature in Bathinda with this goal in mind,” said Sukhbir while naming comedian Bhagwant Mann from Sangrur.
