The Kerala Government Medical Officers Association has threatened of an indefinite agitation as the government suspended on Friday a covid nodal officer who is a senior doctor and two veteran nurses from Medical College Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram on charges of mistreating a patient.

This gave rise to a series of chain reactions as seven doctors of four Medical Colleges in the State resigned from the post of Covid Nodal Officer.
