The day ended with a total of 51, 348 persons diagnosed with active Covid-19 cases all over the State while the total number of persons tested positive till date crossing 1.75 lakh mark.

Out of the nearly 5,000 persons tested positive on Monday, Chennai had 1,298 while Chengalpet (354), Thiruvallur (454) and Kancheepuram (329) followed closely.

Except in Chennai no other districts have shown any kind of abatement or fall in the numbers.
