With Central Government already introduced ordinance facilitating capital punishment to those involved in rape of girls up till 12-years of age, the attack on modesty of members of fairer sex remained unabated with half a dozen incidents reported from the State during last 24 hours.
First incident was reported from Swar locality of Rampur where a 7-year-old girl was allegedly raped by accused. Reports confirmed that the girl was alone in the house as her father went to collect water from the public tap on Sunday evening. The accused kidnapped the girl and raped her and only after she turned unconscious, the accused escaped. In the meantime, the father launched a search for his daughter after he found her missing. later he found her lying in the secluded place after which he took her to hospital and informed the police.
Another incident of reported from Vishnupur locality of Kannauj, where a 11-year-old girl was alone in the house when her own uncle took advantage and had raped her on Sunday night. The girl later informed her father about the trauma after which a case has been registered but the accused absconded before the police reached to arrest him.
In Bareilly, a 7-year-old girl hailing from Saraniya in CB Ganj area was playing outside her house when a 14-year-old boy, living in the same locality took her in a secluded place and raped her on Sunday evening. The girl later told her parents after which a case has been registered and the accused was arrested.
In one more shocking incident reported from Muzaffarnagar, a 13-year-old girl, who went to take medicines from a clinic was raped by the doctor in the name of check-up on Sunday morning. The girl was reportedly drugged before being raped by the accused. When she regained her conscious and learnt of the mischief, she lodged a case with the local police which swung into action and nabbed the doctor. The cops during search recovered large scale indiscriminate documents from the clinic and further investigations are on.
In another case reported from Muzaffarnagar, a woman was attacked allegedly by three men after she resisted their attempt to rape her. The incident took place on Sunday evening and a case was registered against the accused, who all absconded soon after the incident. Reports said three miscreants barged inside the house of a woman and tried to rape her on Sunday evening. When the victim resisted, she was hit with an iron rod in which she was injured. The incident took place when she was alone in the house as her husband had gone out in connection with some work. local police claimed to have registered a case and further investigations are on to nab the accused.
In last case reported from Moradabad on Sunday evening, a girl was reportedly raped when she was alone in the house few days back. The victim claimed that the accused made clippings in the incident and threatened her to upload them if she will report the matter to the police. The girl said that when she handed over an application in the police station, the accused seems to have learnt of it so they uploaded the video to defame her on Sunday night.
Now a case has been registered by the police and the cops were also trying to remove the objectionable clipping from the social media.
