Within a week, the Aditya Nath Yogi Government effected the second major reshuffle in bureaucracy by shifting 41 IAS officers on Tuesday. In the first reshuffle on April 12, the Government had shifted 20 IAS officers.
On Tuesday, the State Government removed vice-chairman of lucknow Development Authority Satyendra Singh Yadav for alleged irregularities in construction of JP International Cultural Centre and Janeshwar Mishra Park and kept him in the waiting. Estate Officer Brajraj Singh Yadav has also been shifted and posted as Special Secretary, Rural Development. Special Secretary, Irrigation, Yogesh Kumar Shukla will take over as Estate Officer.
The Government also changed eight Divisional Commissioners and seven District Magistrates including DM of Gorakhpur, the native place of the Chief Minister.
Resident Commissioner, Delhi, Dr Prbhat Kumar was posted as Divisional Commissioner of Meerut and was given additional charge of Chairman of Greater NOIDA and Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority.
The Government also appointed new VCs of Ghaziabad and Varanasi development authorities. DM of Mirzapur Kanchan Verma was posted as VC of Ghaziabad Development Authority while Chief Development Officer of Varanasi, Pulkit Khare will be the new VC of Varanasi Development Authority.
As per the list of officers released, DM of Basti Prabhu Narain Singh has been posted as VC of lDA. Rajiv Ratuela, who was awaiting posting will be the new DM of Gorkhpur replacing Sandhya Tiwari, who comes to lucknow as Special Secretary in Secondary Education while Director (Administration) Health department Arvind Kumar Singh has been made the new DM of Basti.
Divisional Commissioner of Allahabad, Rajan Shukla has been posted as Principal Secretary of Civil Defence and Political Pension while Secretary, Rural Development Ashish Kumar Goel has been posted as Divisional Commissioner of Allahabad. Divisional Commissioner of Agra, Chandrakant has been posted as Secretary, Human Rights Commission in lucknow while Commissioner of Jhansi, K Ram Mohan Rao goes to Agra as Commissioner. Secretary, Panchayatiraj Amit Gupta will be the new Commissioner of Jhansi division.
Commissioner of Chitrakoot Murli Manohar lal comes to lucknow as Secretary of Medical Health and Family Welfare while Mission Director, National Health Mission and Secretary Health and Family Welfare Alok Kumar- III goes as Divisional Commissioner of Chitrakoot.
Additional Chief Secretary and Head of Power department Sanjay Agarwal has been relieved from the additional charge of Chairman of Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway Development authorities.
Commissioner of Devipatan division Sudhir Kumar Dixit has been posted as Secretary, Medical Education while Principal Secretary, Science and Technology Himanshu Kumar has been maade Commissioner of Devipatan division.
Commissioner of Bareilly division Pramanshu has been posted as Secretary, Panchayati Raj while Member (judicial), Board of Revenue PK Jaganmohan will replacee Pramanshu.
Additional Chief Electoral Officer Anil Garg will be the new Commissioner of lucknow division. Additional Chief Secretary, Health, Sports and Youth Welfare department, Anita Bhatnagar Jain has been relieved from the charge of Sports and Youth welfare. Besides Principal Secretary of Irrigation and Water Resources Suresh Chandra has been relieved from the additional charge of Rural Engineering Services department.
Commissioner of Kanpur division and MD UP Spinning Mills Company ltd, Mohammad Iftkaruddin has been shifted to lucknow as Additional Chief Secretary of Sports, Youth Welfare and Rural Engineering Services.
