4-yr-old UPA-II a complete failure, says CPI

The CPI National Executive alleged the four-year-old governance of UPA-2 was complete failure, marked with mis-governance and spree of scandals. Addressing media after the two day long national executive, CPI General Secretary S Sudhkar Reddy on Monday said the role of BJP was also doubtful in the frequent disruption of Parliament which in turn helps UPA Government to evade accountability.

Reddy also criticised "certain media houses for cooking up surveys" on the prime ministerial candidates. "These are all the ways to diver the attention from key issues like price rise, corruption etc from the minds of people. Certain media houses purposefully trying to avoid scams and unnecessarily float the reports on the possible prime minister candidates," said Reddy. CPI National Secretary Atul Anjan was also present in the press conference.

"The National Executive believes four years of the UPA-2 had been marked by utter mis-governance and spree of exposures of new scams and scandals involving top leaders of ruling combination and the amount usurped is mind-boggling," said the CPI leader.
