A 30-year old man first killed his four-year-old son and then committed suicide at his residence in Outer Delhi's Narela area on Monday night. The deceased identified as Dharmendra in his suicide note claimed that he was upset with his wife who wanted to live away from him and that they had a sour relationship.
According to the police the incident took place around 8pm. Apparently the couple had an argument on Monday morning as well. The wife of the deceased who was at work when the incident took place informed the police on her return. Dharmendra smothered the four year old child and then went to the bedroom and hung himself. In his suicide note he mentioned that they had a strained relationship and his wife wished to stay away from him.
