The International Border in Jammu region has seen a nearly three-fold increase in ceasefire violations by Pakistan this year as compared to last. 148 violations took place in 2013, the figures till November 30 this year stand at 405.
Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, in Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, said the loC, however, saw a slight dip in violations with 199 incidents last year as compared to 150 till November this year.
