Three persons were crushed to death under a train, in two separate incidents, in Ghaziabad on Wednesday morning in Murad Nagar and loni areas.
The police said about 11.30 am three persons who were scuffling on the railway track. As they saw the speeding Utkal Express approaching, one of them jumped to safety on another track. Two others came under the wheels of the train and died on the spot.
The second incident occurred in Rajiv Colony of loni where a man Shintu (20) was found dead on the railway track. His body was discovered with smashed head and broken legs and arms on Wednesday morning from Delhi-Saharanpur railway track.
The Rural Suprintendent of police, Jagdish Sharma, said the three bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
The family members of loni accident victim has been informed while the two dead bodies of Murad Nagar incident could not be identified. Both were drunk. Their bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
