nIn a horrific case, the body of a 28-year-old man was found in a farm in Kanjhawala area. The victim’s face was allegedly trampled on by unknown assailants, police revealed on Thursday.
According to the police, a Police Control Room (PCR) call was received on Wednesday about a body lying in a farm in Kanjhwala. Police staff immediately reached the location. The body was sent for post-mortem. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer District) Seju P. Kuruvialla said, “On the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, the body of a 28-year-old man identified as Raveen was found in a field of 500-600 acres. He received 3 bullets and the assailants tried to disfigure his face by driving on top of the deceased’s body.”
Raveen allegedly left home on Tuesday to meet his friends. A case of murder has been registered at Kanjhwala police station, police revealed. “We are looking into CCTV footage around the location. We have some leads and are investigating the matter,” DCP added.
