A 27-year-old Keralite, who worked as a technician in a private school, committed suicide at his residence in east Delhi’s Seemapuri area on Saturday night. The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Shankar.
Shankar had been staying with his parents in a rented accommodation in Dilshad Colony. Shankar was in his room when his father called him for some work but got no response from him. He broke the door open and found Shankar hanging from the ceiling fan,” said a police official. The family informed the police and the body was sent for post-mortem. “We have not recovered any note from the room,” said the police.
“Even his friends have also not been able to tell about his mental situation. We are now waiting for his wife, who is a nurse in Iraq, to return to India. She might provide some clues into the case,” the police said.
