A 24-year-old Chartered Account was mowed down by a Haryana Roadways bus in South-East Delhi's Badarpur area on Sunday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as Saksham.
According to the police the incident took place around 12:30 pm when the deceased was riding his motorcycle in Mathura road area. An over-speeding Haryana roadways bus rammed into the motorcycle and the boy was crushed under the rear wheel.The driver left the bus and fled from the spot. Saksham's father works as a registrar at the Manav Rachna University in Faridabad.
"A case of rash and negligent driving causing death has been registered at the Badarpur Police station. The vehicle has been seized. Efforts are now being made to nab the driver," said a police official.
