A 22-year-old woman from West Bengal was allegedly gang-raped by two persons on the pretext of providing her a job. The incident took place at a hotel in Mahipalpur area of South district and the police have registered a case and are investigating. However no arrests have been made so far.
According to the police the girl had come down from West Bengal in search of a job. The incident took place at Hotel Sheetal where one of the accused identified as laxman asked the girl to come for a job interview.
He took her to one of the hotel rooms and allegedly raped her. He later threatened the victim and told her that he will implicate her in a false case. Next day laxman’s friend Nayan took the victim to same hotel and raped her.
