Sanitation survey to start on January 4
New Delhi: A sanitation survey will be undertaken from January 4 next year in 75 major cities across the country as part of the Swachchh Bharat Mission for ensuring cleanliness in urban areas. The survey would judge the sanitation and hygiene conditions of 75 major cities, including 53 cities with a population of above 10 lakhs each and state capitals, said a senior Urban Development Ministry official.
Action plan to prevent Child sexual abuse ready
New Delhi: The National Coalition to Protect our Children (NCPOC) on Thursday charted out an action plan to address Child Sexual Abuse and would work to find solutions to address the menace outside home and intra-family. Organised by Rajya Sabha mamber Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the NCPOC held its first meeting to set objectives & find solutions.
