Girija: U’khand can be covered under RAY
New Delhi: Minister of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation Girija Vyas on Thursday said that all affected municipalities or notified area councils in the flood-ravaged Uttarakhand can be covered under Rajiv Awas Yojana (RAY) as a special case to support reconstruction of the devasted houses.

CITU slams UPA bid to privatise airports
New Delhi: The Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) on Thursday blamed the UPA Government for planning to privatise airports. CITU general secretary Tapan Sen said after spending crores of rupees for modernisation of airports, the Centre’s decision for privatisation cannot be justified.
