A police spokesman said that terrorists tossed a grenade towards police station near Azadganj area of old Baramulla town in north Kashmir resulting in injuries to a policeman Mohammad Rafiq who was performing his duty as sentry of the police station.
In retaliation, the policemen fired several rounds but the attackers fled away from the scene. The area was cordoned off.
