Due to gas leakage two Chinese citizens were killed in Jamnagar district of Gujarat. Sources close to the development said the incident occurred in a Chinese cargo ship on the high seas off Rozy port situated in the district. In the incident, three other Chinese citizens were also injured. The ship carried 21 crew members aboard but others were not affected, the police.
The ship laden with coal was coming from Singapore to Navlakhi port in Rajkot district when the gas pipeline developed some leakage. Two persons while trying to repair the damage died on the spot while three others who tried to save their colleagues were also affected by gas leakage.
