As many as 180 couples exchanged nuptial vows during a mass marriage organised under the Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana under the aegis of Social Welfare department at GIC ground on Monday. Addressing the gathering the speakers praised the initiative of CM Yogi Adityanath who is sensitive to the respect of the deprived class. Prominent among those who blessed the couples were MLAs Ratnakar Mishra, Rama Shankar Singh Patel, Dr Vinod Bind and chairman NPP Mirzapur, Shyam Sundar Keshari.
WARNED: Divisional Commissioner Dr Muthukumarasamy B while holding the meeting to review progress in priority works of the government on Monday warned the officials to get ‘golden cards’ prepared under Ayushman Bharat Scheme as per the target otherwise remain prepared to face the music.
