18 Pakistanis held inside Indian waters

A day after Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) nabbed two Indian fishing trawlers along with 10 fishermen; the Border Security Force (BSF) arrested 18 Pakistanis with their two boats from 4 km inside Indian territorial waters in Sir Creek area off Kutch coast.

On Thursday BSF official spokesman in Gandhinagar stated that a marine patrolling team of BSF nabbed two Pakistani boats along with 18 Pakistani nationals. Prima facie the Pakistanis on-board seems to be fishermen as nothing objectionable has found from them."The wooden boats fitted with diesel engines were nabbed approximately 32 km from Koteshwar Border Outpost (BOP). BSF personnel found 350 kg fish, four fishing nets, one ice-box and 30 litre diesel.

Among those arrested, there are four children aging 7 to 15 years," said the official, adding that they have been handed over to the Gujarat police for further legal action.
