A 17-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed to death by three minors in Southeast Delhi’s Govindpuri area on Tuesday. Police said that the three accused had taken the boy to a secluded spot to settle a dispute between them and killed him.

“The accused went to the boy’s house on scooter and asked him to follow them. The boy, along with one of his friend, followed the three boys. They took him to a secluded spot and stabbed him multiple times in the abdomen. While the 17-year-old collapsed on the spot, his friend managed to escape. He then informed his family members and locals of the area who rushed to the spot and took the boy to hospital where he was declared dead on arrival,” said a senior police officer.

The boy had sustained deep wounds and died of blood loss. His body has been sent for a post-mortem examination, the officer added. According to the police, two of the accused have been arrested while the other one is still absconding.

“During questioning, two boys have confessed to the murder. They said that they had a fight with the victim a few months back when he had insulted them. Following this they made a plan to take revenge and called him out to settle the matter,” the police officer further added.
