Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will hand over flats of 415 square feet area to 1,040 poor urban people at the rate of just Rs 4.75 lakh.
The total cost of the flat will be Rs 12.59 lakh and out of this, Rs 7.83 lakh will be given as a grant by the Central and the State Governments.
The allotment of these flats will be done as per Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) guidelines and through the District Urban Development Authority (DUDA).
As many as 14 states had applied to the Union Housing and Urban Affairs ministry for these EWS houses Under the Global Housing Technology Challenge India (GHTC India).
