District Magistrate Divya Mittal while presiding over the meeting of fertiliser review committee at the Collectorate on Tuesday has directed the officials to ensure availability of adequate fertiliser to farmers according their to agricultural land.
Discussing ways for proper distribution of fertiliser she said it was the duty of the officials to keep a close watch on stock holders, black marketeers, illegal traders etc. She asked the AR cooperative and agriculture officer to patrol on state borders to check smuggling of fertilisers to other states.
