The Pakistan Rangers today said they had arrested an Indian national in Wagah sector for illegally crossing the border.
The man, identified only as Mandra, was arrested while he was crossing over into Pakistan, officials claimed.
The man was later handed over to local police. "His name is Mandra and he hails from Bihar,” said an official at Burki police station.
Police are interrogating the man to ascertain why he had crossed the border, the official said.
