A 35-year-old Indian labourer in the UAE has been found hanging under mysterious circumstances, police said today.
However, police suspects foul play in the suicide as the ceiling from which the body was found hanging is quite high and the police did not find any stool or ladder under the body, Khaleej Times reported. He was found in a labour accommodation in Sharjah's Industrial Area Number 17 yesterday. The Sharjah Police said they were notified about the death at 7 am. "It is not clear how the worker reached the ceiling. The body has been shifted to a forensic laboratory for autopsy," the police said. The police has taken some people into custody and investigation into the case is going on.
