India is a land of stories, and Netflix is helping those stories inspire travel. As Netflix marks 10 years in India, Union Minister for Tourism and Culture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Netflix Co-CEO Ted Sarandos came together to celebrate the power of storytelling in taking India to the world. Their shared vision now takes shape through ‘As Seen on Netflix’, a special section on the Incredible India website that encourages audiences to discover the real places, cultures and experiences behind stories on screen. From India’s magnificent heritage and diverse traditions to its spectacular wildlife and landscapes, Netflix will help turn powerful stories into an invitation to explore Incredible India.

Celebrating Culture And Heritage

From the grandeur of Heeramandi and the artistic world of Qala to the cultural roots explored in Kantara, Netflix showcases the many traditions and stories that shape India’s rich heritage.

Wild India, On Screen

India’s spectacular wildlife and natural landscapes find a compelling showcase through Netflix stories. The Elephant Whisperers takes viewers into the forests of the Nilgiris and the intimate world of elephants, while Kaziranga and Mudumalai National Park bring India’s rich biodiversity into focus.

Shows set across the country's varied landscapes and outdoor settings also feature prominently, offering viewers glimpses of places that invite exploration beyond the screen.
