Hyderabad: Two eliminations within a weekend have reshaped the two Bigg Boss editions now on air, with Rohit reportedly leaving the Telugu season after a vote by his fellow contestants and Aasif Khan exiting the Hindi version after falling short of audience votes. The exits drew emotional responses from viewers.

Rohit's removal from Bigg Boss Telugu 10 was, by all accounts, unanticipated. Neither the studio audience nor the show's followers had counted on his departure, and the call was taken by the housemates rather than put to a public poll. Supporters reacted with anger and disappointment, and many have been pressing for his return to the house. Whether the programme's producers will pay heed to that demand is not yet known.

On Bigg Boss 20, the November 1, 2026 Weekend Ka Vaar episode opened with Salman Khan in an evidently cheerful mood, pulling up several contestants on their conduct. Elvish Yadav took the stage to promote Rizzz Master, his forthcoming virtual dating show, and said he liked Love Gill a great deal, teasing her until she blushed.

The host later turned to ScoutOP, who had been given what amounted to a reality check by his girlfriend, Kaashvi Hiranandani. The contestant described himself as a "loser" and said his place in the house was not deserved. Salman disagreed, telling him he had now earned the right to stay, and advised him to take things lightly, correct his mistakes and deal with it maturely, "like a man", once the show ends.

A segment in which chits disclosed what contestants had said about one another behind their backs produced much of the night's friction. Arishfa Khan took offence on learning that Scout had once called her a "Daayan", while Kanika Mann and Mahhi Vij traded charges of being unfaithful. Asked which friendships should be dissolved, most housemates named the pairs of Gullu and Kanika and Love Gill and Amrapali Dubey.

The episode ended with the eviction. Salman announced that Aasif Khan, the Panchayat actor, was being sent out because he had not gathered enough votes. He embraced the others before leaving. Yung DSA, Amrapali Dubey, Mahhi Vij, Kanika Mann, ScoutOP, Love Gill and Arishfa Khan were seen in tears. Aasif delivered a last bulletin and walked out.

The two accounts differ on how each exit was decided — an internal vote in one case, a viewer shortfall in the other — and neither report carried an official confirmation from the show's makers or the channel. The eliminations underline how far the franchise's formats diverge across languages.
