The trailer of the much-anticipated film Vijeyta has been released, offering audiences an emotional glimpse into a story of resilience, betrayal and ultimate victory. Directed by Rajiv S. Ruia and produced by Dr. Rajesh K. Agarwal under the banner of RKG Movies, the film promises to deliver a stirring real-life tale of determination and spirit.
The trailer begins with poignant visuals of a young man working in modest surroundings, reflecting his humble beginnings. It soon builds into an intense narrative of betrayal, rivalries and looming underworld threats, capturing the weight of the protagonist’s struggles. The high point arrives with a powerful shot of the central character standing before a cheering crowd, echoing the film’s tagline — “Zero to Hero: A Real-Life Journey.”
Ravi Bhatia leads the cast in a gritty role, supported by Gyan Prakash, Bharti Awasthi, Diksha Thakur, Godaan Kumar, Pretty Aggarwal and others. The screenplay, crafted by lyricist and storyteller Sandeep Nath, balances deeply personal conflicts with larger socio-political challenges.
The story draws inspiration from the life of Dr. Rajesh K. Agarwal, who rose from assisting in his family’s small Kolkata business to building RKG International FZC — a global metal recycling enterprise operating in 33 countries. Alongside his business success, Agarwal has also emerged as a philanthropist supporting education, healthcare and environmental initiatives.
Describing the film as “an emotional and inspirational saga,” director Rajiv S. Ruia said the trailer was only a glimpse of the journey audiences can expect. The use of sepia tones for the past, stark contrasts for conflict, and expansive visuals for triumph has already attracted praise online. The trailer premiered at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival and the Cannes International Festival 2025.
Vijeyta is scheduled for release on 19 September 2025 and is already being hailed as one of the most inspiring films of the year.
