A workshop on dengue was organised at the Government Doon Medical College (GDMC) hospital on Tuesday. The workshop titled, ‘Multidisciplinary approach for controlling dengue’ was held under the aegis of the National Health Mission (NHM). In the workshop, the state programme officer, national vector borne diseases control programme, Dr Pankaj Singh read out a status report of dengue.
The mission director of National Health Mission (NHM) Yugal Kishore Pant, principal of GDMC, Dr Ashutosh Sayana, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dehradun, Dr S K Gupta and large number of doctors and medical students participated in the workshop.
