For evaluation of urban Community Health Centres (CHC), a workshop was organised at Hemwati Nadan Bahuguna Medical Education University on Wednesday. The workshop was organised under the aegis of National Health Systems Resource Centre.
The Principal of the Government Doon Medical College (GDMC), Dr Pradeep Bharati Gupta was handed over the task of coordinator of all seven medical colleges of the state including the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh. Dr Gupta said that a team will be formed under the guidelines of government of India. This team will visit different CHCs and evaluate their functioning on various parameters.
The workshop was held under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor of HNB medical Education University, Dr Saudan Singh. The Executive Director of National Health System resource centre New Delhi, Sanjeev Kumar and advisor NHSRC Dr J N Srivastava delivered their presentation on different aspects of evaluations of CHCs.
