At a time when the people of Uttarakhand are outraged over the heinous crime committed on two minors by a group of dacoits at Ramnagar in Nainital district the State Women Commission chairperson Sarojani Kaintura when contacted for comment pleaded her ignorance of the matter. “I have no idea about what happened there. I am yet to read the day’s newspapers. Nor have I viewed the television. I was rather busy with a public meeting,” she said.
