'Women activists prepared to ensure BJP win in polls'

BJP Mahanagar president Neelam Sehgal said that women activists have also geared up in order to ensure the victory for all five party candidates in the State.

She alleged that the Congress-led State Government has completely failed to take effective steps for redressing the grievances of displaced villagers despite the fact that more than 10 months have passed since the natural calamities struck Uttarakhand.

Addressing the conclave of party activists in Dehradun on Wednesday, Sehgal said that BJP candidates will comfortably win all five seats as the Congress-led State Government has completely failed to take steps for pushing the State further on the path of overall development.

Sehgal also expressed her concern that the criminal cases against women are continuously increasing in the Garhwal and Kumaon divisions of Uttarakhand and the State Government has not introduced any effective steps to keep a tab on such cases.

She also urged from the gathering to pull up their socks in order to involve activists at booth level in order to ensure victory for party activists in the upcoming parliamentary elections. Rajkumar Kakkar, Shyam Agarwal, Kiran Sundriyal, Khem Gupta, Vipin Khanduri, Sachin  Gairola, Ankit Gaur, Rakesh Panwar, Rahul, Amit, Sabina  Ansari, Jyoti Kotiyal and many more activists were also present.
