The Winter Session of Uttarakhand Assembly has been extended till December 7. A decision on the matter was taken in course of the meeting of business advisory committee on Wednesday afternoon. Uttar Pradesh Zamidari Abolition bill 1950 (amendment) and Uttarakhand Ayurvedic University amendment bills would be placed, discussed and passed by the House during the remaining period of the session.
Similarly discussion on the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services amendment act, sent back to the Assembly by the Governor, would also be taken up for discussion. This apart, the Assembly would hold discussion on sustainable development, it is learnt.
