To promote tourism and show case Uttarakhand is safe for tourism, Dehradun District administration is going to organise Winter line Carnival in between December 27-30 at Mussoorie.
This was disclosed by said Dehradun DM BVRC Purushottam while interacting with media persons in Delhi on Friday.
He further said that four day long event is being organised by the Municipal Corporation, Mussoorie.
The district administration has formed a committee to ensure that the upcoming Winter line Carnival in Mussoorie should be talking point among tourists and locals.
Purshottam said that he has already instructed the members of the panel and the officers associated with the carnival to successfully implement the duties assigned
to them.
In the carnival that would be celebrated will also see the performance of cultural troupes, especially called from the other States.
Several programmes including Mussoorie walk, circuit mountain biking, run for Mussoorie, rock climbing, photography competition along with cultural performances will be held during four day long Winter line Carnival.
It may be mentioned here that earlier, Uttarakhand Secretary Tourism, Umakant Panwar told that cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar has promised to try his best to attend the Carnival.
In case of not being able to visit due to his busy schedule, Sachin has promised to send a message for the occasion, which could be used to
promote the event.
