The Kesar Jan Kalyan Samiti has threatened to sit on a dharna if Munni Devi — the widow of Kargil martyr Subab Singh — is not allotted the promised five bighas of land in rural area.
In a letter directed to the State Chief Minister Harish Rawat the President of Samiti NK Gusain said that Munni Devi is running from pillar to post for last 15 years for the piece of land promised by the State Government. He said that the members of the committee along with family of martyr would sit on a dharna if the land is not allotted to the war widow till September 15.
