Will continue to oppose arbitrary attitude of U'khand PSC: JSM

The Jan Sangharsh Morcha has pointed out that there is a glaring anomaly in the requirements stated for a candidate to become eligible for vacancies on five posts of additional private secretary level in the secretariat for which examination is to be held. The minimum and maximum age limit for candidates for these posts is 18 years and 42 years respectively while the education qualification required is graduation. The JSM chief Raghunath Singh Negi said that it is surprising that the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission officials, while fixing the age limit, did not consider that students graduate at 20-21 years and not at 18 years which is the minimum age limit for these posts.  Negi further said that in the past various organisers of such examinations kept the minimum age at 21 years for those required to have graduation as minimum educational qualification while in the case of those candidates required to be intermediate-pass, the minimum age limit was kept at 18 years. He warned that the JSM will continue to oppose the arbitrary attitude of the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission.
