Delhi- based jewellery designer Chetna Nanda, an alumnus of Welham Girls' School, has brought to the Doon valley a very exquisite exhibition of contemporary jewellery. The exhibition began on April 5 and will conclude tomorrow (Sunday) evening at a hotel situated in Subhash road.

Chetna has done her designing course from The Gem and Jewellery promotion council, New Delhi. In time for Baisakhi, Chetna's unique style reflected in her unique and exquisite designs has been well received by the citizens of Doon.

The collection encompasses a wide range of contemporary necklaces infused with a traditional element wherein semi precious and precious gemstones have been combined with kundan work enhancers.

The silver range includes neck pieces with gemstones woven into delicate silver wires whereas the ear rings could be used as both formal and informal wear. The more expensive range includes rubies, sapphires, emeralds, topaz tourmaline, tanzanite neckpieces which are sourced from all over the world. The gold and diamond designer jewellery are not only unique but trendy and includes entire sets.

The range of chokers or "haslis" including the ones with kundan work enhancers have been attracting ladies of all ages whereas the silver jewellery has been picked up in large numbers by the younger crowd.

The affordability is another major attractive factor.
