The legal Service Authority (DlSA), Bageshwar in conjunction with the Uttarakhand State legal Service Authority launched a week-long Mobile lok Adalat Campaign in different parts of the district from Friday.
Side by side, various legal awareness- related programmes will also be hosted during the week- long lok Adalat Campaign which will continue in the district till September 25, said the officials concerned of the DlSA, Bageshwar.
The basic purpose of organising the Mobile lok Adalats is to provide justice to the common man residing in the remote areas of the district.
The fact of the matter is that in the absence of legal awareness, justice remains elusive for the common people spread across the far-flung areas of the district.
That is the reason why the district administration has taken the initiative of staging the legal awareness drive.
Besides, the campaign would instruct them as to how to get justice at the cheapest, further said the officials concerned of the DlSA, Bageshwar.
All the legal matters of the people would be solved on the spot through mutual agreement and understanding, they maintained.
At the same time, the DlSA Bageshwar has also directed the officials concerned to take necessary steps to ensure successful completion of the mobile lok adalats.
