A watch showroom, located at Rajpur Road, was burgled on Saturday night with thieves stealing about 200 watches from the showroom. In his complaint, showroom manager Rohan Joshi stated that he had locked the showroom at 9 pm on Saturday and when he reached the showroom on Sunday morning he found the lock of the showroom had been changed.
When he inspected the showroom he found that about 200 watches were missing. Someone had burglarised the showroom on Saturday night after breaking the lock. After taking away with watches, criminals locked the showroom with a new lock. Dehradun Circle Officer (City) Pramod Kumar said that a case under Section 379 of IPC was registered against unidentified persons in the Kotwali Police station on Sunday. A team has been formed and deployed to various places to nab the culprits, he added.
