The newly appointed Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dr P P Dhyani has said that providing quality education, improving research and employment oriented education are among his priority areas. Shortly after assuming the charge of the first VC of the university he said that utilizing the human resources in the best possible manner is what he is aiming for. Dr Dhyani said that he want to make the new university as a role-model in the fields of higher education, health and environment.
Dr Dhyani has a long administrative and research experience. Before joining SGRR University, he had a distinguished record of heading the Govind Ballabh Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment and Sustainable Development Kosi- Katarmal Almora as director.
He has published 180 research papers in many national and international magazines.
Dr Dhyani has represented the country in as much as 234 seminars, conferences and symposiums in a number of countries.
