Demanding immediate arrest of the remaining accused in the murder of 18-year-old Ambedkar Marg, Dl Road resident Nitin who was stabbed to death after argument with a group of six youths in broad daylight on February 2, dozens of locals along with victim’s parents protested at SSP office and submitted a memorandum to the SSP Ajay Rautela on Sunday.
The protesters expressed anger at the delay in apprehending the accused son of local councillor and questioned police functioning in this case. later they met the SSP and submitted a memorandum seeking immediate arrest of the remaining accused of this case. Dalanwala police station in-charge said that after the murder, an FIR was lodged against Manoj, Bablu, Ankit, Niluwa, Sandeep and Bunty after which four accused were arrested. Teams have been deployed to arrest remaining accused, he added.
