Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Sadhvi Prachi expressed disappointment stating that while Pakistani flags were being unfurled in parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was considering the scope for according a special package to the State.

lambasting the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, she opined that Mufti would leave its coalition partner BJP high and dry. Criticising the special package proposal for Kashmir, she said Pakistani flags were being hoisted in the open in the area and the Indian PM was mulling over giving special package to the State.

Known for making controversial statements, the VHP leader criticised the BJP while interacting with media persons in Haridwar on Monday.

She said, “We cannot hoist our national flag there and Pakistani flags are hoisted without any check. Our army is stone pelted and we are planning to give special facilities to the stone pelters.” She further said, “If Mehbooba Mufti had patriotic zeal, she must come forward to embrace Kashmiri Pandits first and facilitate their resettlement in the State. But Mehbooba does not have guts to do this,” she said.

She demanded that the administration of Kashmir region should be handed over to the army considering the frequency of violent situations in the state.

Referring to the comment made recently by the prime minister on cow vigilantes,  she questioned as to why Modi was perceiving cow protectors (Gau Rakshak) Gau Bhakshaks (cow killers).

Criticising the recent statement made by the BJP State president Ajay Bhatt on a social-religious aspect, she said that his statement might land the BJP in a fix. Bhatt must resign from his post for making such a statement, she said.
