The Uttarakhand Vidhyalayi Shiksha Parishad (UVSP), Ramnagar, Nainital has invited application from the eligible students for its Uttarakhand Teachers Eligibility Test (UTET).
The secretary of UVSP, R D Sharma said that the application forms for TET I and II would be available at 42 post offices of the state from October 24. He said that the application form should reach UVSP office on or before November 23. Sharma said that only D.El.Ed qualified candidates would be eligible for UTET I.
The National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) has made it mandatory to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary education (D.El.Ed) qualified candidates to clear the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for being eligible to be appointed as teachers.
